So, like you, I have no real idea who this woman is at the Hag's door. She's got torso feathers though. If that helps.

The Art
Anxious block
Inspired by one of my favorites
Greetings, browsers! Here's a drawing inspired by one of my favorite artists, John Jude Palencar. I first saw his stuff in old Time Life books about hauntings and what-not, but I was too young to know it. Then, I rediscovered him in the nineties when I stumbled across a few book covers he did. The man is a wonder. If you're out there, here's to you! Check out his art here, you won't be dissappointed. He's got a heckuvuh site there, love the hourglass figure upon entry :)

Weekend Plans
Hey readers, I'll be taking a break for a while as I spend some time at the hospital. I'm having surgery at the University of Wisconsin Surgical Center. Drop me a line or come by if you're in the neighborhood. Have a good one, and I'll be back to it soon.
Cheers,
-Micah

Okay, enough of these pages!
Page one of "The Hag" and the rest of the next parcel. The quote by William Matthews I took from a sonnet titled, "Vermin" that I read on Adam's blog yesterday. I don't know much about poetry, but that last sentence is killer. Cheers buddy. And I promise I'll start some new pages tomorrow...I hope.

Postcards review and WPF issue#3
A couple good pieces of news today. Postcards, True Stories That Never Happened was reviewed in USA Today...today. Read it here. I'm happy to see my own name and story by Josh mentioned there but, of course, kudos also to Bob Tinnell and Brendan and Brian Fraim as well for their mention in the article, and Jason Rodriguez for being a whirling dervish of publicity.
Also, the final installment of my three issue series, White Picket Fences will be avaiable at the Ape Entertainment booth at Wizard World Chicago this weekend. Come see me and the cowriters of this book, Matt Anderson and Eric Hutchins, at the same table. Check out the cover for issue three below.
